Fire: The blaze occurred at Cygnet Fountains Hospital, Blackburn
A KITCHEN fire broke out at a private hospital in Blackburn last night.
Four fire engines were called to the scene at Cygnet Fountains on Pleasington Close at around 11.45pm on Thursday June 3.
The crews were able to use two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
According to an eye witness, staff and patients were evacuated from the building while firefighters tackled the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
