A CANNABIS farm was uncovered last night after police raided a home.

The farm was discovered at a house in Barnoldswick on June 2, with the suspected owner of the cannabis plants now under investigation.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team say that the disruption of the farm came about thanks to help from local people.

A police spokesperson said: "This was as a result of community lead information which is invaluable and helps us to get drugs off your streets and make your town a nicer, safer place to live and work.

"The offender is currently under investigation pending further enquiries."
