AN ACCOUNTANCY firm is offering a day of free training for local businesses.

The online event, hosted by Blackburn firm PM+M, will see the firm's team run free, one-to-one sessions on Teams or Zoom in which guests can ask anything cloud accounting related and gives them the opportunity to speak to one of the firm’s specialists about any cloud-based accounting queries they may have.

PM+M's cloud accounting team manager Rosie Cooper said that people in all kinds of different business sectors could learn from the event.

She said: “The workshop day is open to everyone, regardless of whether the individual or business is already a client of PM+M or not.

"They may be a business owner considering a move to the cloud, an existing user of cloud accounting software looking for advice, or a client requiring additional training or support.

"No matter what their goal is, the aim of the day is provide practical advice that will help businesses thrive.”

Attendees with have the chance to learn how to use software like Xero or QBO, to understand more about the best app integrations for them, or if they’re considering a move to the cloud, learning about the different options available and how to get started.

Other potential topics could include how to utilise data by linking to PM+M’s app partners during the session, for example, extending the information to provide cash planning tools, future forecasts and more detailed reporting of business KPIs, as well as the advanced features sat within the software which may be useful for businesses, including projects, expense management and payment services.

The event will be held on Wednesday June 16.
