Warning: Police have said several thefts have taken place in and around Clitheroe
A WARNING has gone out after a series of thefts from cars.
The thefts occurred in an around Clitheroe earlier this week between 3am and 5am.
In response, police officers have warned motorists to secure their vehicles.
A police spokesperson said: "Unfortunately expensive items have been taken and these can be easy pickings for thieves when they are left on view and cars aren't locked.
"Its easy to forget to grab everything from the car seat after a long day at work, but a few extra seconds of vigilance can save a lot of heartache."
