FOUR men were arrested for possession of drugs today after being a car was stopped for driving while uninsured.

Two of the men were first stopped by police from Burnley Taskforce who stopped the car after noticing the occupants behaving suspiciously.

The officers discovered that the car was uninsured, leading them to take further action.

A police spokesperson said: "As a result a search took place and a large amount of drugs located within an address and two males were arrested and the vehicle seized.

"After conducting further enquiries another address was searched and more drugs located and another two males arrested taking the total to four people currently in custody for drugs offences including production of a Class B drug and they will be interviewed in due course."
