Collision: Police say they closed the road after a crash
A ROAD has been closed after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.
According to Rossendale Police, Station Road from Facit down to Hall Street in Whitworth has now been closed.
The AA says that the collision, involving a motorbike and another vehicle took place on the A671 Market Street and that that area affected stretches from the Halfway House pub to Hoyle Street.
Traffic has been affected between Rochdale and Burnley, with police advising motorists to be aware of this when travelling through the area.
Officers have said they will update the public when they have reopened the road
