Fire crews were called to a road sweeper which set on fire this morning on the Grane Road.
The fire service were called just before noon today (May 13) after the vehicle set alight on the road in Haslingden.
The driver got out of the cabin before two crews from Rawtenstall and Haslingden arrived and they were there for around 20 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Two engines attended to extinguish the fire.
"We were called at 11.55am and by 12.20pm they were coming away from the incident.
"No ambulance was called but police were called to help with traffic management."
