It's only a matter of days until the next set of lockdown restrictions ease.

Monday (May 17) will see step 3 of the Prime Minister's roadmap out of lockdown.

This means that people will be able to enjoy a meal and a drink inside a pub.

We've taken a look at some of the top rated pubs that plan to open their doors again on Monday.

Here's some of Google's top rated ones across Cumbria.

The Wainwright, Keswick

Rated 4.4 stars on Google.

The Wainwright is a traditional pub on Lake Road in Keswick town centre. The Wainwright are proud to provide up to eight real ales, all from Cumbrian breweries.

The pub announced that they'd be reopening on Monday on a firs come first served basis.

The Sun Inn, Crook

Rated 4.5 stars on Google.

The website describes: "Traditional, atmospheric, friendly run, dog and child friendly pub, in the beautiful setting of Crook, just outside of Kendal, within the beautiful Lake District and only five miles from Lake Windermere."

The news was announced on their website that they will be reopening on Friday, May 21.

The Greyhound Inn, Burgh-by-Sands

The pub announced on Facebook that they will be reopening on May 17.

The Packhorse, Whitehaven

Posting on social media the pub said: "It’s official, We will be reopening on Monday, May 17 at 12pm. Inside Dining, Al Fresco drinks & all round good times!

"We have an incredible new menu and a full bar, it may have been a while but we are so ready to greet you all."

The Crown, Walney
