A man was detained by an off-duty police officer following a violent struggle.
The man was detained last night by an off-duty officer following a violent struggle, in the Kingston Crescent area, Helmshore.
A spokesman for police said: "If we could please ask locals around the area to check your sheds, and garages to check if they are secure. "If you find anything insecure, or notice any disturbances, please report this to the police by calling 101.
