A quad bike was set on fire and then thrown from a bridge onto a train station platform.
British Transport Police were called just before 10pm on Sunday to Roose Station in Barrow-in-Furness after receiving reports of a fire on the platform.
When they arrived they found a quad bike had been set alight and now believe that it had been thrown from the road bridge.
A spokesperson for the BTP said they are now looking for information to assist with enquiries and would ask anyone with details to contact them by texting 61016 quoting refernce 2100032505.
