Labour’s Andy Burnham has been re-elected as the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
He won 67.3 per cent of the vote - and increase on his mandate from 2016.
The 51-year-old will continue as Mayor for the region for another term - this time just three years after last year's elections were cancelled.
Mr Burnham is now the bookmakers' favourite to become the next Labour leader.
The Metro Mayor won 63.4% of the vote in 2017.
