A MAIN road was closed by a crash this evening.
Golborne Road in Winwick was partially blocked in both directions following the accident between the junctions with the A49 Newton Road and Hornby Lane, close to the Swan pub.
It is believed that the incident occurred at around 4.30pm, and slow traffic was reported in the area as a result – with queues along the A49 between the Winwick Link Road and Green Lane.
But the route was fully reopened at around 6.45pm.
