Police are seeking witnesses after a Land Rover Discovery crashed into three parked cars before driving off.

Officers in Chorley want anyone who saw the 'fail to stop collision' in the village of Wheelton on May 3 at around 1.22am to come forward and assist with their enquiries.

It is believed that the Land Rover Discovery 4, similar to the one pictured, drove down Victoria Street from the A674 and hit three parked vehicles before leaving the village up Kenyon Lane.

A spokesperson for Chorley police said: "Chorley Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a fail to stop collision in the village of Wheelton at 1.22am on May 3.

"A vehicle believed to be a Land Rover Discovery 4 has entered Victoria Street from the A674 and collided with three parked vehicles before fleeing out of the village up Kenyon Lane.

"If anyone was in the area at the time and can assist with the direction of travel before or after, or has seen a similar vehicle with front passenger side damage to the bumper and wheel arch please contact 3036@lancashire.police.uk or report anonymously via crimestoppers quoting log 0329 of May 3.
