Motorway closed in both directions at Blackburn as police deal with incident
THE M65 was closed in both directions due to a police incident.
Lancashire Road Police and Traffic Officers were called to the motorway between Junctions Five for Shadsworth and Six for Blackburn following an incident this afternoon.

Motorists reported being stuck in tailbacks for as long as half and hour as the incident was dealt with.
The road has now reopened.
