A total of 104 people have passed through a knife arch this week, with one person being arrested after police found them in possession of 20 wraps of crack cocaine.
Officers in Blackpool were out on Lytham Road on Tuesday and Wednesday night as part of operation sceptre - a week long intense campaign against knife crime.
As well as the 104 people who passed through the arch, 12 people were searched and one person arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after police discovered 20 wraps of crack cocaine and £300 in cash.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We also made some arrests on adjacent streets - one on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and one on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
"Twenty one wraps of crack cocaine, three wraps of heroin and a flick knife were seized.
"We are committed to keeping our communities safe and tackling violent crime is a priority for us.
"We'll continue to work throughout the year, using all powers at our disposal in areas where we identify there is an issue."
