AN air ambulance was in action earlier today to help assist a patient.
The Helimed 72 helicopter arrived at the scene just behind Paxton Street in Accrington in front of the railway station at around 3pm on Monday April 26.
Once on the scene, North West Air Ambulance crew helped to perform a ground assists, with ground crew already in attendance.
As the incident occurred on private property, the North West Air Ambulance cannot provide further details on the patient.
