Seized: A dog rescued in a similar raid elsewhere in the country
SEVERAL dogs have been seized by the police this morning.
The dogs were seized in Burnley this morning by officers from the Ribble Valley Rural Task Force and the RSPCA.
The seizures were carried out under the Badger Act.
Officers say that this was done to prevent "any further suffering to animals."
Meanwhile Ribble Valley Police have said that there investigation with the RSPCA will continue.
