CAR BOOT SALES are officially back on- much to the delight of bargain hunters across the nation.

They are the perfect place to find a bargain or simply to flog your unwanted items to earn a bit of cash.

During lockdown, it’s likely that you have accumulated a wealth of items ordered from Amazon and eBay out of boredom.

However, now is the time to sell on those puzzles and banana bread recipe books and invest in new and exciting items as lockdown restrictions ease.

Here are five car boot sales that you can visit in Lancashire:

1. Mania’s Mega Market and Indoor Carboot, Higher Audley, Blackburn

(Facebook/ @ManiasMegaMarket)

Blackburn’s Mega Market is officially back open.

Sellers might not be operating out of the back of a car- but they will still be selling a variety of goods and you will be protected from the elements.

Pitches start from £10 for a basic pitch area and tables, shelving, clothing rails and chairs can be rented for additional costs.

They are open Sundays 8am until 2pm.

Find out more on their Facebook page.

2. Great Harwood Car Boot, Harwood Lane

(Facebook/ @greatharwoodcarboot  )

The Great Harwood Car Boot is back this Sunday (25 April).

Plenty of sellers are expected to turn up- including those selling ice cream, meat and fruit and veg.

If you are a seller, it’s £10 per car or £15 for a van.

Traders can turn up from 6am and for buyers gates open at 6:30am.

Booking isn’t necessary- just turn up on the day and pitch up your stall.

3. Norcross Car Boot, Norcross Lane, Thornton-Cleveleys

This car boot takes place every Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday between March and the end of October.

Sellers are allowed to park up from 6:30am and it’s £16 per van.

If you are a customer, it’s 50p for admission and parking.

Best of all, there are three fields of fields to explore and bargain hunt in.

The organisers would also like to remind visitors that dogs aren’t allowed.
