A MAN has been charged after burgling a takeaway and with trying to steal from cars.
Leam Tomlinson, 34 of no fixed abode, has now been charged with three counts of burglary of the takeaway in Waterfoot as well as three further offences related to stealing from or attempting to steal from cars, in which the windows where smashed.
Tomlinson will now appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court tomorrow morning and will be remanded in custody until then.
A police spokesperson said: "There will doubtless be some comments around previous sentences for Tomlinson however please consider that the police arrest and prosecute having gathered the evidence and the courts set the punishments."
