Brookside Street Oswaldtwistle
FIRE crews spent an hour putting out a fire on cardboard and rubber.
It is unclear how the fire started but at just past 2pm, crews attended a fire out in the open on Brookside Street, Oswaldtwistle.
The fire involved a container of rubber and cardboard that was well alight when crews arrived.
The grass area around the container was also affected.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to bring the fire under control. They remained in attendance for approximately one hour.
