Margaret Baldwin of Fern Avenue, Oswaldtwistle died peacefully on April 10, aged 95 years.

During her life Margaret worked as a police officer, an Office Manager for Boythorpe Crop Stores, as well as owning a Greengrocers for many years too.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed knitting, dressmaking and watching TV, her favourite programmes included Songs Of Praise and Countryfile, she also loved tending her garden, but most of all she loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and also going on family holidays.

She was also a member of St Paul’s Church in Oswaldtwistle, their Mother’s Union and the RSPB.

Margaret was the dearly loved wife of the late Jim, a much loved mother of Malcolm, Alison and Daniel, a dear mother in law to Jacquie and Lisa, as well as a treasured grandma and great grandma.

She will be very sadly missed by all those who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held for family and invited close friends only (due to the current Government restrictions).
