MORE officers are on patrol in a town due to a spike in anti-social behaviour.
Several residents have complained about nuisance behaviour and large gatherings of youths in the Buckshaw Village are of Chorley, prompting officers to take to the streets.
Local officer PC Nichola Barff-Lewis called for the operation and will be running many more in the near future to tackle the issue of ASB in the area.
A spokesman said: “Many residents have been spoken to, target areas patrolled and lots of information and intelligence has been gathered.
“In addition to this the scooter photographed in this post was seized after some youths were seen joy riding on it.
