THE LANCASHIRE POLICE CONSTABULARY were called out to more than 23,800 crime reports in 2020.

According to data from, the overwhelming majority of these reports (10,506) were related to anti-social behaviour.

This works out as a shocking average of more than 28 reports per day.

  • Use of an imitation weapon like a BB Gun in a public place
  • Prostitution related activity
  • Begging and vagrancy

Some of the anti-social behaviour described above is a criminal offence, such as criminal damage or drug dealing, and this can result in arrest and prosecution.
