As non-essential retail opened back again today, fashion giant Primark appeared to be one of the busiest shops in Blackburn.
Based in The Mall, people were queuing inside the old WHSmith shop, before being put into another queue in front of the shop.
Primark does not offer online shopping and because of its low prices, it was expected that the shop would be busy, but some shoppers were not expecting it too be quite as busy.
One shopper, who didn’t want to be names said: “It’s hectic. It’s just too busy. I’ve had to queue for Debenhams.
“I was going to queue for Primark but the queue was massive.”
