A HOME improvements firm has set its sights on growing by 50 per cent over the next three years.

In order to do so Clearview Home Improvements, which is headquartered in Preston and operates across the county, has strengthened its senior management team by appointing Phil O'Malley as operations director.

Mr O'Malley, who has 20 years experience in the industry, will take charge of driving the planned expansion and will aim to recruit, retain and manage the existing team of project managers, surveyors and other professionals who work on the firm’s day-to-day activities in its showrooms.

He said: “Clearview has forged a hugely impressive reputation over the past decade as one of the leading home improvement providers across the North West.

"To be given the opportunity to help guide the business to even loftier heights is incredibly exciting."

Clearview Home Improvements is part of the Conservatory Outlet Group and has further showrooms further afield in Nantwich and Warrington.

Mr O'Malley's appointment comes shortly after the hiring of Phil Brown as managing director in December 2020.

Mr Brown had previously worked as co-founder and director of the Audas Group, where he turned a £1,000 start-up investment into a £30 million organisation in just 10 years.

Mr O'Malley meanwhile joins shortly after the company announced record breaking sales of over £15 million from June to December last year, with senior managers hoping to build on this success.

Conservatory Outlet Group CEO Greg Kane said: “To bring in someone of Phil’s calibre, with a proven track record of success within our industry, is only going to strengthen Clearview’s position going forward.

“We’ve set ourselves some really ambitious growth targets over the next few years to grow by 50 per cent and we’re all delighted to have him on board. It’s shaping up to be a really exciting year for the business.”
