A PERSON was trapped in a car in a two car crash in Nelson.
The incident took place at 12.53pm this afternoon on Reedyford Road.
A Lancashire Fire spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Nelson attended a road traffic collision on Reedyford Road, Nelson.
"The incident involved two cars and left one casualty trapped in their vehicle.
"Firefighters used Holmatro cutting equipment to free the casualty, who was then assessed by North West Ambulance Service paramedics before being conveyed to hospital along with two other casualties for precautionary checks.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour."
