East Lancashire residents with a sweet tooth have given Rosemere Cancer Foundation a boost this year.

Customers at the bakery chain Oddie’s - which counts shops in Nelson, Colne, Foulridge, Burnley, Padiham, Accrington and Todmorden - collectively put £257.02 into loose change donation boxes during January and February.

Oddie’s has collected for Rosemere Cancer Foundation the first two months of every year since 2015. The total amount raised by customers over that time is now a sweet£2,751.38.

Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria. It treats patients at various locations, including Burnley General Teaching Hospital and the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
