A PERSON was released from some playground equipment in Nelson by firefighters.
Crews from Nelson attended the scene on Brunswick Street at 7.59pm.
A fire service 'freed a casualty who had become trapped in playground equipment'.
"The casualty was then assessed by North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
"Firefighters used lighting and were in attendance for approximately one hour."
