LATEST figures show there have been no coronavirus-related deaths at East Lancashire hospitals in six consecutive days.
According to the statistics by NHS England, it shows that 1,012 people have died at the Trust which runs the hospitals at Blackburn and Burnley, since the start of the pandemic.
Elsewhere, tbere were six deaths nationally yesterday from the virus - with two in the South West, two in the Midlands and another one in the North West in Manchester Universities NHS Trust.
There was also one in the North East and Yorkshire.
