The driver of a Renault Clio has been arrested for dangerous driving and drugs offences after police chased him through a town.
Tac Ops officers patrolling in Colne on Sunday night requested the Clio, pictured, to stop for them.
When it failed to do so and sped off, police pursued it into Nelson where they carried out a sting on the vehicle to bring it to a halt.
The driver ran off but was chased by police and caught a short while later.
Upon inspection of the vehicle, a number of drugs were recovered, and the driver also failed a drugs wipe.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This Clio failed to stop for Lancs Tac Ops in Colne.
"Vehicle pursued into Nelson where it was stung.
"Driver ran but was chased and caught a short distance later.
"Quantity of drugs recovered.
"Driver failed a drugs wipe and was arrested for dangerous driving and drug offences."
