A LIST of Marston’s pubs which will open their terraces and beer gardens to punters this April has been released.

In total 13 of the company’s pubs will reopen in Lancashire, one of which is in Blackburn and the other in Great Harwood.

Several venues will also open in Chorley and in others towns across the county.

A statement on the Marston’s website reads: “We’re excited to announce that we’ll reopen almost 70 per cent of our pubs in England from the 12th April, in line with the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown.

“Whilst we cannot open our whole estate just yet or welcome guests inside, we look forward to providing alfresco hospitality across over 600 of our pubs.

“We know our guests, like us, eagerly await the time when all pubs can reopen, and we’ll provide more details about when our Welsh and Scottish sites can welcome back guests as soon as we have the final, official details.

“Whilst our pubs have been closed, we’ve invested in and adapted many of our outdoor spaces and pub gardens to enhance existing areas in readiness for when we can reopen.

“We have our fingers crossed for blue sky and sunny spells, but we all know the British weather, so as well as packing sunscreen and sunglasses it may be worth bringing an umbrella and jacket too!

“We know how much our guests have missed visiting their pub and our teams are busy getting things ready behind the scenes. We’ll have a range of food and drink options available and strict hygiene measures will continue to be implemented across all our sites. Further details about our ‘Makes Sense’ safety campaign can be found on each pub’s website.”
