GOOD Morning Britain has seen its fair share of drama in recent weeks.

And the latest instalment came courtesy of former Eastenders actress Patsy Palmer who was appearing on the show this morning live from her home in Malibu.

But just seconds into the interview, with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard, Patsy took exception to words written across the bottom of the screen which read: "Patsy Palmer: Addict to Wellness Guru".

In her 2007 autobiography, the 48-year-old revealed her past experiences with drugs and alcohol, writing that in her twenties she “was bingeing life away on cocaine, ecstasy, and enough vodka and Laurent Perrier Champagne to quench a small village's thirst for several hours."

She said: "I' don't even want to do this interview. I don't even want to look at what it says at the bottom of the screen."

"I'm going to switch off and do a real Piers Morgan.

"It's not okay to have 'addict to wellness guru' on the bottom of the screen.

"The issues that I had years ago that I've talked about.

"It's over and I don't really want to talk to you."

And with that, she closed her screen and was gone, before Ben apologised for upsetting the Bianca Jackson actress and added: "That's obviously a quote from Patsy's book."

Lancashire Telegraph:

Susannah said: "That's a terrible shame. Our apologies to Patsy. She's entitled not do the interview and we carry on."

Awks!

Last week, Piers stormed off the Good Morning Britain set after facing criticism for his treatment of Meghan Markle.

Co-star Alex Beresford took exception with a number of Mr Morgan's comments on the previous day's show and brought it up live on air.

He said: “I understand that you do not like Meghan Markle and you have made it clear so many times - so many times on this programme.

"And I understand you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off. She is entitled to cut you off if she wants to.

"Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? Now, I do not think she has. But yet you continue to trash her."

“Ok, I am done with this,” Piers said as he stormed off set.

"No, no, no, that is pathetic," replied Alex. "Absolutely diabolical behaviour."

Mr Morgan added: "No. Sorry."
