POLICE used a stinger to stop a van which was spotted in Lancashire area with false plates.
Rossendale Police officers say that Greater Manchester Police were also involved in bringing the vehicle to a stop last night.
A police spokesman said: "This VW Van was spotted in the Lancashire area on false plates.
