Car seized and driver had 'long walk home' after travelling from Manchester to Morecambe for 'exercise'
A MOTORIST 'has a long walk home to think about' their actions after being stopped by police while driving from Manchester to Morecambe for 'exercise'.
A police spokesman said they stopped the vehicle on the M6 near Preston initially due to it travelling at excess speed.
It said: "Turned out the driver was travelling from Manchester to Morecambe for exercise!
"Turned out the driver didn't have insurance either.
"Vehicle seized and driver issued with a TOR. #longwalkhometothinkaboutit #MN11 #T2TacOps"
