TWO TRUCKS were involved in a motorway crash this afternoon.
Lancashire Police Tactical Operations officers along with two fire engines from Clitheroe and a major rescue unit from Preston attended the incident at around 1.20pm.
There they found there had been a collision between two heavy goods vehicles on Pimlico Link Road/A59 Worston, Clitheroe.
Both the trucks had been badly damaged however, and officers are now investigating the circumstances behind the crash.
Firefighters used holmatro cutting equipment and a mobile scaffold to rescue one casualty from the vehicle who was treated at the scene by North West Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
