Barclay Hill: Motorcyclists have been warned to stay away
MOTORCYCLISTS have been warned to keep their bikes on the road and off of hills.
Police in Burnley issued the warning after a number of local residents issued complaints about motorbikes riding on Barclay Hills.
Officers also warned that this could be dangerous.
A spokesperson said: "If people bring their motorbikes on here, or are in any way associated with the bikers coming on here we have powers to deal with them via community protection notices.
"We don't need to catch them red handed.
"It annoys the locals and stops people enjoying the fields because they're riding dangerously."
