King Street: The road was closed after at least two vehicles were involved in a crash
AN ELEVEN month old baby boy was taken to hospital after a car crash in Blackburn today.
The crash took place near junction with Stonyhurst Road on King Street with emergency services arriving at the scene at around 3.20pm.
Police and ambulance services found a number of cars had collided and that a child had suffered a head injury.
The boy was then taken to hospital and having been checked over is now in good health.
The road was closed in both directions before eventually being reopened just after 5pm.
Police are also appealing for anyone who say the collision or either of the vehicles beforehand to get in touch by phoning 101, quoting log 945 of March 2.
