With news that the schools are to re-open but that measures such as extra ventilation need to be introduced, it’s timely to look at this photo from the archives which shows one way to help pupils - open air lessons.
This was Belthorn Primary School in 1990 when, on a sunny day, the desks were taken outside and children worked in the playground.
Anyone remember having open air lessons which always seemed a real treat?
