"We are really excited about getting going and that's right from the board right the way through to the staff team who are really keen to get back.

"We are certainly chomping at the bit to re-open the doors and re-open the sites to support people again."

The trust and Ski Rossendale began a merger last year and the trust assist the skiing facility with various admin.

The Government restrictions state that from March 29, outdoor team sports and activities such as tennis and golf can return while indoor facilities including gyms unable to open until at least April 12.

Most of the facilities will be able to return from April 12, if the roadmap allows, with gyms, the swimming pool, junior courses, grip and go, outdoor group exercise and squash able to re-open.

From May 17, indoor exercise, including exercise classes, and indoor sport, such as basketball, will be able to continue, with all remaining activities to return from June 21 at the earliest.
