Blakey Moor, Blackburn
Currently part of a major renovation project, this interesting photo from the archives shows Blakey Moor looking towards New Market Street at a time when the road was being resurfaced.
Although undated it is possibly from the 1980s. On the left you can see the corner of King George’s Hall with the town hall tower block straight ahead looming above Marks and Spencer.
