76 homes in Burnley are without power after a fire on an electricity pole.
Engineers and fire crews are currently on the site on Manchester Road in Hapton.
Footage has been shared on social media of the incident earlier tonight.
An Electricity Northwest spokesman said: "We received the call at 5.20pm about the incident and had to cut supply to the properties because of the fire.
"We are currently working with the fire crews on the site and an investigation has been launched into the cause of the blaze.
"There is going to be some traffic lights installed so we can do the repairs."
On the Electricity North West site it is claimed that power should be restored by 12.30am.
