TWO men are being hunted by police after they escaped from prison.
Officers are appealing for information after Michael Jackson and Alex Rigby, both 38, absconded together from Sudbury Open Prison on Thursday 18 February at 8.30pm.
Jackson was convicted for four years and four months at Preston Crown Court for breach of bail conditions relating to drugs and motoring offences, in 2019.
Rigby was sentenced to seven years for robbery at Bolton Crown Court, in 2018.
Jackson is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on both arms, including a full sleeve on his left arm.
Rigby is white, 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build, he has brown hair and blue eyes.
Jackson has links to South Normanton and Blackburn in Lancashire, and Rigby has links to Bolton, Lancashire.
If you have seen either of the men or know of their whereabouts, please do not approach them and contact police quoting reference number 1032 of 18 February.
