Tributes have been paid to Anne Bailey of Blackburn, who died on 2 February at 63.
Anne was a much-loved partner to Ronald, a loving step mum to Laura and Kerri and a cherished grandma to Reece, Andrew, Aimee-Leigh and Jack. She was also very close with hir sisters Joan, Marg and Trish, and loved by all her family.
Born and raised in Blackburn, Anne worked at the Mullard manufacturing plant, before getting work at the betting shop Ladbrokes. She loved the job her wonderful workmates.
Anne enjoyed going on holiday, visiting Spain, Turkey and many other places with Ronald. She was a great cook and was known for favourite dish of slow-roasted tomatoes.But most of all, she adored spoiling her grandchildren - especially at Christmas.
Ronald said: “We lived at Alderney Close for 25 years and they were the happiest days of my life. I loved her to bits.”
