A warning has been issued to landlords in relation to criminals growing cannabis in rented properties.
Police have released this video to show just how much work goes into constructing such a set-up, including suspending wires from ceilings and bypassing mains electric boards.
Officers are urging landlords to regularly check on their rental properties, as any kind of criminal activity which results in damage and disconnection of services will ultimately be the responsibility of the landlord to repair.
They also warn that most insurance doesn't cover landlords for situations such as this.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Can you afford to clear and repair the damage caused by criminals growing cannabis in your premises?
"You will also be liable for reconnecting the electricity and any associated costs.
"Most insurance doesn't cover this.
"Make sure you check your property."
