Fancy having a lazy pancake day?

While many people across the county will be eager to start flipping their pancakes, others might prefer to get theirs made for them. 

If you’re hopeless at making pancakes but still want to enjoy the day, we have you covered.

We have tracked down some of the best restaurants and takeaways that are selling pancakes in East Lancashire.

1. Your Girl Can Bake, Nelson

Your Girl Can Bake is a relatively new restaurant to the market.

There are plenty of sweet treats and delicious-looking snacks on the menu - pancakes included.

Their pancakes are described as “luxurious” with vanilla undertones.

They are fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and all are made in house.

Currently, there are three different flavours of pancakes.

Talk Dirty To Me is topped with Nutella and strawberries, then dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon.

Kinderella comes with white chocolate spread as well as Nutella.

Fan of biscoff? Don’t Bisc Me Off pancakes are drizzled in a biscoff sauce and coated with lotus biscuit crumbs.

They are £6.50 each and there are six pancakes in a portion.

Delivery starts from 6.40pm.

2. The Kabin, Blackburn

The Kabin is the place to go if you want a hearty breakfast this Pancake Day.

While most people associate pancakes with sweet toppings, they also go really well with savoury additions too.

While you can get American Pancakes with Maple Syrup (£2.50), you can also get the pancakes with square sausage or streaky bacon (£3).

Delivery is unavailable but you can collect from 7.20am.

Best of all, you currently get 10 per cent off when you spend £15 at The Kabin on Just Eat- so make sure to get enough for the whole family.

3. Tuck Inn, Blackburn

If you want to keep it simple and order some ordinary pancakes, a stack of five is £5.50 from Tuck Inn.

However, they also specialise in crepes and there are some very adventurous flavours on the menu.

Nutella with strawberries and white chocolate with banana and Nutella are just some of the options (all £5.99).

The restaurant opens at 5pm. There is a £1 delivery fee and also a £9.99 minimum order.

Best of all, you get 10 per cent off when you spend £20 or more at this restaurant on Just Eat.

4. Yummyz, Accrington

Yummyz are selling crepes - and some of the flavours look absolutely delicious.

Their Oreo Crepe is made with crumbled Oreos and Belgian chocolate sauce and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (£4.50).

Other flavours include Marshmallow Dream (£4.50), even the Ferrero Delux (£4.80) and the Brownie Crepe (£4.80), just to name a few.

You can find Yummyz on Uber Eats- they open at 4pm.

5. La Glacier, Blackburn

The pancake menu at La Glacier is simply mouth-watering.

Are you in the mood for the classic strawberry and Nutella (£8.95)? Or maybe you have a craving for Raspberry and White Chocolate (9.95)?

Maybe you want to try something completely different and opt for Terry’s Chocolate Orange or The Nutty Professor flavour pancake.

All of the flavours at La Glacier are available as a waffle, crepe or pancake - which one would you choose?

If you order from here, there is a £2.50 delivery fee but you also have the choice to collect.

6. Dahna Lounge, Blackburn

Dhana  Lounge sells crepes or pancakes - and you can find them on Just Eat.

You can choose Nutella or strawberries for your topping and it will only cost you a reasonable £5.

As it’s pancake day, treat yourself to a creamy milkshake £3.50 or thick shake (£2.50).

Just Eat reviewers have high praise for this restaurant.

One person wrote: “I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my desserts or milkshake! You smash it everytime dhana lounge!”

The restaurant is open for deliveries from 4.30pm - there is a £1 delivery fee and an £8 minimum spend needed.

7. Cherry on Top, Burnley

If you have a sweet tooth, an order from Cherry on Top should be at the top of your agenda.

They sell an incredible variety of sweet treats and puddings.

There are three types of pancakes on the site, including banana, fresh strawberries and plain - all of which are drizzled with a sauce of your choice.

Prices range from £3.50 to £4.65 depending on your toppings of choice.
