AN appeal has gone out to find staff for a coronavirus testing programme.
Lancashire County Council is looking to recruit people to help with its SMART lateral flow testing programme to help identify people who have Covid, but don't have symptoms.
Working in teams, these paid roles include directing people when they arrive at a test site, supporting people to carry out the test themselves, as well as analysing, logging and communicating the results.
Applicants will get full training and guidance, and full personal protective equipment will be provided.
Testing is being carried out at various locations around the county, so teams will need to be able to travel to different sites.
Cllr Shaun Turner, the authority's health boss, said: "This is very important work.
