Ten people have been issued with Covid fines after police swooped on an illegal drinking den, complete with full bar set-up.
The group, who were highly intoxicated, were fined on Friday evening after police were tipped-off about the gathering, which was being held in an industrial unit located on a business estate in Bacup.
As well as a full bar set-up, including a snooker table, table football and large TV, officers were left bewildered when they found two sheep also at the party.
Licensing Sgt Gary Hennighan said: "The obvious line is that the wool wasn't pulled over our eyes on this occasion.
"In all seriousness, this was an extremely selfish thing to do.
"I appreciate people want to socialise and see friends again but there is no excuse for this.
"The next step is to take action against the people hosting the operation."

Police discovered a full bar set-up but the most bizarre find was the presence of two surprised sheep.
