The radio studios where Burnley's Jordan North honed his craft have been sold to a security firm.
The Grade II listed St Paul's Church in Preston, that up until recently was home to Rock FM, was sold to the city's Sector Security Services, who will be making the iconic building their new headquarters.
The company, which currently operates out of a premise in Blackpool Road, set up 25 years ago, and bosses say they plan to retain and enhance as many of the original features of the church as possible in a major refurbishment.
The church, which is around 200 years old, was put on the market after Rock FM moved out in January 2020.
Since then, the broadcaster relocated its presenters to Manchester with its sales team moving to an office elsewhere in Preston.
Known as the "rocking church" by Radio 1 and I'm a Celebrity star Jordan North, the iconic landmark was bought-up by Sector Security last month.
The firm has also submitted plans to Preston City Council to convert the church into offices.
