One lane was blocked due to an accident on the A56 Haslingden Bypass.
The accident happened near Bent Gate Roundabout and there was heavy traffic on the A56 Haslingden Bypass Southbound between B6232 Grane Road and A680 Manchester Road.
Rossendale Police urged drivers to slow down and drive carefully in the snow.
The dark grey Land Rover had careered into the central reservation area and police said this was due to driver error.
