A DRIVER'S car has been seized after police caught him doing 95mph on the motorway.

He was also stopped for driving without an essential journey, as he told officers he was simply testing out his Volvo.

A tweet from Lancs Tac Ops read: "Driver thought he would go out for a drive during lockdown and drive at 95mph on the M65 with his provisional licence, testing out his car.

"Reported for numerous offences, vehicle seized plus a COVID ticket. Really there are no words! #t5tacops #batmanbooth"
